a 33-2 mark, a regional title and a national runner-up finish.
Junior 157-pounder Ryan Herwig and sophomore heavyweight Kyle Bilquist
also competed at the NCAA Division III Championships as they each
placed second at regionals and were selected for wild-card berths
to the tournament
Herwig reached the third round of consolations and was one victory
away from a top eight finish and All-American honors for the second
year in a row. He finished the season with a 33-15 record.
Bilquist was ranked as high as third during the year before his
loss in the regional finals. He then dropped both of his matches
at the national tournament to end his season with a 38-7 record,
including 17 pins.
