SHIPPENSBURG (PA) - Delaware Valley College completed a perfect 4-0 record at the East Coast Duals by defeating three more Division II squads, including two ranked in the top 20, on Saturday afternoon.

The Aggies, ranked fourth in Division III, opened the day with a 45-9 victory over Limestone College and followed with a 25-8 domination of a Mercyhust University squad that was ranked fifth in Division II. They capped the day with a 23-20 victory over No. 18 West Liberty State College to improve their dual meet record to 6-2 on the season. One day earlier, Delaware Valley defeated Shippensburg, ranked 12th in Division III, by a 23-12 score.

Rick Frondorf (149), Ryan Pope (165), Jason Shivak (174) and Andrew Helms (184) each went 3-0 on Saturday with Pope, Shivak and Helms also adding victories on Friday night for perfect marks at the Duals. Shivak and Helms are returning All-Americans with Helms being ranked second in Division III in his weight class.

Delaware Valley won eight of 10 weight classes against Limestone, including four pins. Mike Handleman needed just 46 seconds to down Ian Barker at 133 while John Powell dropped Greg Satterfield in 4:33. Helms pinned Kyle Elliott with just six seconds left in the first period (2:54) and Jamall Johnson followed with a fall over Robert Sater in 33 seconds at 196 pounds.

The Aggies then took seven of 10 matches against No. 5 Mercyhurst with three triumphs coming against nationally-ranked Division II wrestlers. Mike Weston began the match with a 7.3 decision over sixth-ranked Ricky Randazzo at 125 pounds. It was Weston's second big victory of the tournament as he notched a decision against the third-ranked wrestler from Shippensburg on Friday evening.

Pope earned a 4-2 decision over fourth-ranked Zach Shafer at 165 pounds and Helms notched a 9-4 decision over third-ranked Ben McAvinew at 184 pounds.

Delaware Valley trailed by 14-0 and 17-4 scores before rallying for the three-point victory over No. 18 West Liberty State. Pope stared the run of four straight victories with a 5-3 decision over Scott Bard. Shivak earned a forfeit at 174 and Helms pinned Andrew Stewart for a 19-17 Aggie advantage. Kyle Phipps filled in for Johnson at 197 pounds (Johnson had to sit out the match due to a double disqualification with Mercyhurst's Justin Mautz) and recorded a 10-2 major decision.
