Delaware Valley 40, Centenary College (NJ) 6

HACKETTSTOWN (NJ) -- The Delaware Valley College wrestling team, ranked sixth in Division III, opened the 2003-04 season with a 40-6, non-conference victory at Centenary College.

The Aggies, who are two-time defending Middle Atlantic Conference champions, received four forfeits in the match. Wayne Helms (heavyweight) and Adam Schumacher (165) picked up major decisions at their weight classes. Helms began the match with an 11-2 triumpg over Andrew Maubois. Schumacher downed Ken Jacoby, 10-1

Eric Warbuton (164), Kevin Moore (174) and Ian Holden (DVC) picked up decisions for Delaware Valley.
