Wilkes University 3, Delaware Valley College 2

WILKES-BARRE (PA) - Wilkes University rallied from two games down to post a thrilling 27-30, 17-30, 30-21, 30-25, 15-6 Freedom Conference victory over visiting Delaware Valley College.

The Lady Colonels improved to 10-14 overall and 2-3 in the conference while the Aggies saw their overall record fall to 9-11 and their Freedom Conference mark slip to 1-5.

Marissa Harrison keyed the comeback for Wilkes by cracking 17 kills and servicing 10 aces. Katherine Harrington contributed 13 kills for the Lady Colonels while setter LeeAnn Searfoss handed out 47 assists and came up with 11 digs.

Delaware Valley was paced on attack by Andrea Wolf's 13 kills, 11 digs and four blocks. Stephanie Knox was next on the list for the Aggies with nine kills, while Ashley Mikulsky was credited with eight kills and eight digs. Kate Klish had 21 digs and Jackie Holdsworth contributed 17 digs. Bonnie Zobel finished the night with 23 assists and 16 digs.
