(NJ) - The Delaware Valley College volleyball team concluded its
2007 season with an 11-21 record follow a pair of non-conference
losses at Rowan University on Saturday afternoon.
The Aggies opened the tri-match with a 3-2loss to Bryn Mawr College
(20-30, 31-29, 30-28, 17-30, 15-12) and followed with a 3-0 setback
to the host school (30-176, 30-19, 30-18).
In the Bryn Mawr match, Andrea Wolf tallied 23 kills, 14 digs and
six blocks. Fellow senior Jackie Holdsworth had nine kills while
freshman Ashley Mikulsky added eight kills and 30 digs. Senior Bonnie
Zobel dished out 35 assists while junior Kate Klish dug out 35 balls.
Wolf paced the Aggies against Rowan with 10 kills. She ended her
career as Delaware Valley's all-time leader in service aces with
199. Zobel wrapped up her collegiate career with 24 assists. Holdsworth
and Stephanie Knox also saw their time in an Aggie uniform come
to an end.
Klish had 31 digs against Rowan to up her school single-season mark
to 638. She also holds the single-match record (50) and the all-time
record (1,362) for digs.
