The
Aggie volleyball program has been in existence since 1979 and were champions of
the old Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC)-Northeast section in 1988.
Current
head coach Shawn Rush took over the program prior to the 2003 season. One year
later, Andrea Held was named the Freedom Conference Rookie of the Year. The 2006
edition posted a .500 record - the first for the program since 1998.
