Delaware Valley College 3, Valley Forge Christian College 1 (30-17, 25-30, 30-22, 31-29)

PHOENIXVILLE (PA) - The Delaware Valley College volleyball team reached double digits in victories for the first time in five years as the Aggies notched a 3-1 triumph over host Valley Forge Christian College in a non-conference match. Games scores were 30-17, 25-30, 30-22 and 31-29.

Delaware Valley improved to 10-7 on the yea for the most wins since the team went 10-12 in 2001. The Patriots fell to 6-12 with the loss.

Andrea Held notched nine kills and 11 service aces while Jackie Holdsworth also registered nine kills. Bonnie Zobel had a big night with nine kills, 27 assists and was one of three Aggies to hit double digits in digs. Joining her in that category were Jaki Blood and Kate Klish.
