Delaware Valley College 3, Rosemont College 0 (30-11, 30-12, 30-6)

ROSEMONT (PA) - The Delaware Valley College volleyball team set a school record with 30 service aces and matched its entire win total from last season as the Aggies cruised to a 3-0 victory over host Rosemont College in a non-conference match. Game scores were 30-11, 30-12 and 30-6.

Delaware Valley is now 7-4 overall to already equal the victory total from 2005's 7-18 campaign. Rosemont fell to 0-9.

The 30 service aces topped the previous record of 28 that the team set last year against Bryn Athyn College. In fact, the team had more aces then kills (18) in the match.

Bonnie Zobel had a big afternoon with 12 aces and 11 assists as she missed matching the school's individual single-match record for aces by four. Nicole Gardner and Jackie Holdsworth served six and five aces respectively while Andrea Held paced the squad with six kills and just one error in 11 attempts.
