Delaware Valley 3, Lancaster Bible College 0 (30-15, 30-20, 30-11)

DOYLESTOWN (PA) - The Delaware Valley College volleyball team improved to 2-2 season with a 3-0 home victory over Lancaster Bible College in a non-conference match. Game scores were 30-15, 30-20 and 30-11 in favor of the Aggies.

Delaware Valley had a strong hitting night as it recorded 28 kills and just four errors in 60 attempts. The Aggies also served up 19 aces en route to the victory.

Sophomore Stephanie Knox led the way with 10 kills and no errors in 20 attempts. She also had two digs and blocked two shots. Fellow sophomores Andrea Held and Jackie Holdsworth added six kills apiece. Held also had nine digs and five service aces while Holdsworth notched 16 digs and four aces.

Junior Lauren Silio recorded five kills, 13 digs and three aces while sophomore transfer Bonnie Zobel had five service aces and dished out 20 assists.
