UNION (NJ) - The Delaware Valley College volleyball team moved its mark to 1-2 on the young season as the Aggies split a tri-match at Kean University. The Aggies opened with a 3-1 (30-22, 30-23, 22-30, 30-13) victory over Centenary College, but dropped a 3-0 outcome (30-26, 30-21, 30-25) to the host school.

2004 Freedom Conference Rookie of the Year Andrea Held paced the Aggies with 17 kills and five service aces against Centenary. Fellow sophomore Jackie Holdsworth added 18 digs while sophomore transfer Bonnie Zobel dished out 22 assists.

Holdsworth's seven kills and 10 digs led the way in the match with Kean. Held served three aces in the loss.
