Delaware Valley 3, Chestnut Hill College 1 (27-30, 30-8, 30-19, 30-17)

DOYLESTOWN (PA) - Stephanie Knox's 16 kills led Delaware Valley College to a 3-1, non-conference victory over visiting Chestnut Hill College. Game scores were 27-30, 30-8, 30-19 and 30-17 in favor of the Aggies.

The Aggies are now 5-9 on the season as they matched their entire win total from last year's 5-15 campaign and they still have 12 matches remaining. Chestnut Hill fell to 5-12 with the loss.

Knox set a career-high for kills with just five errors in 34 attempts. She also added four solo blocks and two service aces.

Fellow sophomore Jackie Holdsworth notched nine kills, nine digs and three aces while Rachel Joyce had seven kills and just one error in 19 attempts and also added four blocks on the evening.

Lauren Silio had a big night with eight kills and nine digs and Brittany Marconi dished out five aces, four digs and three assists. Bonnie Zobel led the way with 30 assists while also adding seven digs and four aces and Caitlin Klish paced the squad with 10 digs.
