Arcadia University 3, Delaware Valley 0 (30-23, 30-17, 30-19)

DOYLESTOWN (PA) - The Delaware Valley College volleyball team opened its 2005 season with a 3-0, non-conference loss to visiting Arcadia University. Game scores were 30-23, 30-17 and 30-19 in favor of the Knights.

Sophomore Jackie Holdsworth and junior Rachel Joyce paced the Aggies with seven kills apiece. Holdsworth also added a team-best 16 digs. Junior Lauren Silio recorded six kills and 10 digs while freshman Caitlin Klish dug out 15 balls. Sophomore transfer Bonnie Zobel dished out 17 assists in the loss.
