Chestnut Hill College 3, Delaware Valley 2 (27-30, 37-39, 30-27, 30-19, 15-11)

GLENSIDE (PA) - Jackie Holdsworth had 15 kills and just one error in 33 attempts, but it wasn't enough as the Aggies lost a 3-2, non-conference heartbreaker at Chestnut Hill College.

Delaware Valley (0-2) took the first game, 30-27, and, keyed by seven straight service points from Jackie May, rallied in the second game for a 39-27 triumph. However, Chestnut Hill notched scores of 30-27, 30-19 and 15-11 in the final three games to pull out the victory.

Holdsworth, a freshman, had the big hitting night for the Aggies. She also added 17 digs, one service ace and one assist. Fellow rookie Stephanie Knox added seven kills and three digs while another freshman, Andrea Held paced the squad with seven service aces and 18 digs. Junior Andrea Radice dished out 30 assists and also had nine digs.
