Delaware Valley 3, Bryn Athyn College 0 (30-9, 30-17, 30-11)

DOYLESTOWN (PA) -- The Delaware Valley College volleyball team surpassed its win total from the entire 2003 season as the Aggies dominated visiting Bryn Athyn College, 3-0. Game scores were 30-9, 30-17 and 30-11.

The Aggies have now won two of their last three matches and improved to 2-6 overall. They have now topped last season when they went 1-12 and even surpassed the 2002 mark of 1-3 before that squad had to disband its season due to a lack of players.

One of the big reasons for the improvement, freshman Andrea Held, paced Delaware Valley against Bryn Athyn with 12 kills and eight digs. Sophomore Jackie May dished out 27 assists and also added five aces while another sophomore, Lauren Silio, contributed six kills and 13 digs.
