Aggies Get First Win Of The Season, First Career Win For Head Coach Shawn Rush

ROSEMONT (PA) -- Freshman Jackie May set a school record with 16 service aces to lead the Delaware Valley College women's volleyball team to a 3-1 victory over Rosemont College. Game scores were 30-24, 29-31, 30-23, 30-24 in favor of the Aggies.

The win was the first of the season for Delaware Valley (1-5) as well in the collegiate head coaching career of Shawn Rush.

Fellow freshmen Katie Dann, Lauren Silio and Emily Casali had big performances as well for the Aggies. Dann notched seven kills and seven digs while Silio had six kills, six assists and six digs. Casali chipped in with eight digs.
