KING'S COLLEGE 3, DELAWARE VALLEY 0 (30-13, 30-11, 30-12)

WILKES-BARRE (PA) -- The Delaware Valley College volleyball team opened Freedom Conference play iwth a 3-0 loss to unbeaten King's College. Games scores were 30-13, 30-11 and 30-12 in favor of the Lady Monarchs.

Senior Emily Traylor paced the Aggies (1-3, 0-1 Freedom) with six kills and 24 digs while Elizabeth Ryan added five kills and seven digs. Senior Laura Moore dug out 20 balls and dished out 14 assists.

King's improved to 13-0, its best start ever, surpassing the 12-0 marks achieved in 1999 and 2000. Lady Monarch seniors Katie Baffone, Jill Leibman and Tara Holly earned the 100th victory of their four-year collegiate careers and the trio is now 100-13 at King's.
