Aggies Compete At MAC Championships

SELINSGROVE (PA) - The Delaware Valley College men's and women's indoor track and field teams each finished eighth out of eight squads at the 2008 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championships on Saturday.

The women notched six points with Becky Heisey and Caitlin Dorgan accumulating the totals. Heisey finished fourth out of 15 competitors and picked up four points in the shot put with a toss of 34 feet, 5 inches. Dorgan grabbed the remaining two points as she took fifth out of 12 in the 800-meter run with a time of 2 minutes, 28.94 seconds.

Delaware Valley's men did not register a point at the MAC Championships. Its top finisher was Chip Brumbaugh as he placed ninth out of 25 runners in the 1 mile run with a time of 4 minutes, 38.84 seconds.
