Aggies Compete At Frank Colden Invitational

COLLEGEVILLE (PA) - Delaware Valley competed at the Ursinus College Frank Colden Invitational as the women finished 12th out of 16 teams while the men did not place at the event.

The Aggies registered 12 points to best Holy Family, Globe Institute, Rutgers-Camden and Cumberland Community College. Johns Hopkins took the team title with 115 points.

Becky Heisey took second out of 27 competitors in the shot put with a toss of 33 feet, 10 inches. Tabitha Balutis also placed in the event as her throw of 31 feet, 1 inch was seventh. Jennifer Alderfer took eighth in the 200-meter dash (28.68) while Caitlin Dorgan also took eighth in the 1-mile run (5:45.04).

Kery Swope was the top Aggie on the men's side as he took 15th in the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 9.74 seconds.
