Women's Track & Field - 2003 Season Archive

Head coach Joe Kern and the Aggies finished the 2003 season by placing 10th out of 11 teams at the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championships.

Senior April Mafturak set a school record and tied a MAC record in the pole vault by clearing the bar at 10 feet, 6 inches. She tied Erin Weaner of Messiah College in the event, but Weaner was awarded the gold medal since Mafturak had one more miss at earlier heights. Mafturak ended her career with two MAC title and two runner-up finish at the indoor and outdoor championships.
