Aggies Compete At Widener Invitational

CHESTER (PA) - Jessica Derrickson had a first-place finish to highlight Delaware Valley College's showing at the Widener Invitational. Team scoring was not kept at the event.

Derrickson took first in the women's 55-meter hurdles with a time of 10.09 seconds. The women were also well represented by Jennifer Alderfer, Caitlin Dorgan and Becky Heisey as each had a runner-up finish on Saturday. Alderfer ran the 200-meter dash in 28.36 seconds while Dorgan ran the 800-meter run in 2 minutes, 29.54 seconds. Heisey racked up 2,308 points to place second in the pentathlon.

On the men's side, junior Kevin Weber competed in the pentathlon and placed fourth with a total of 1,627 points.
