Aggies Compete At Albright Invitational

READING (PA) - Becky Heisey won one event and placed second in two others to highlight Delaware Valley College's showing at the Abright College Indoor Invitational. Team scoring did not take place at the event.

Heisey took top honors in the shot put with a toss of 31 feet, 11.25 inches. She was then the runner-up in both the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 9.9 seconds and the high jump as she cleared the bar at 4 feet, 2 inches.

Caitlin Dorgan and Lauren Wright also had first-place finishes for the Aggies. Dorgan crossed the finish line in 2 minutes, 32.4 seconds in the 800 meter run while Wright cleared the bar at exactly 6 feet in the pole vault

On the men's side, Patrick McGrath was the lone competitor in the pole vault and he cleared the bar at 8 feet. Chip Brumbaugh placed second in the 1 mile run with a time of 4 minutes, 47.9 seconds.
