Softball

The Aggie softball program has been in existence since 1980 and is in the midst of a resurgence under 2007 Freedom Conference Coach of the Year Rich Matarese.

The 2007 squad went 16-14 and qualified for the conference playoffs for the first time since 1987. One year later, the team won a record 18 games and reached the Freedom Conference Championship Game for the first time in program history. Six players have earned all-conference accolades over the last two seasons.
