Delaware Valley 2, Lebanon Valley College 1 (Game 1)
Lebanon Valley College 4, Delaware Valley 2 (Game 2)

DOYLESTOWN (PA) - Kirstyn Ruhling pitched a gem on the mound while Kelly Andrews continued her hot hitting with a home run in the first game as Delaware Valley College earned a non-conference doubleheader split with a red-hot Lebanon Valley College squad. The Aggies took a 2-1 decision before suffering a 4-2 loss in the nightcap.

Delaware Valley saw its record move to 10-11 with the split while the Flying Dutchmen, who are off to their best start in school history and had won 12 of their previous 13 games, moved its mark to 18-4.

Ruhling allowed just one run and six hits in seven innings and improved her record to 4-4 on the season. The sophomore has permitted just two earned runs over the last 22 innings while winning two of those three contests.

Andrews went 2-for-2 in the opener, including her second home of the season as she drilled a pitch into the wind and over the leftfield fence in the fourth inning for a solo round-tripper and a 2-0 Aggie lead. Delaware Valley scored its first run in the bottom of the first as Kim Harle (2-for-3) led off with a triple and was knocked in on a Nicole Dorney (1-for-2) single.

Lebanon Valley got its lone run in the fifth inning as Crystal Nolen (2-for-3) smacked her second home run of the season. The Flying Dutchmen threatened in the seventh as they put runners on first and second with two outs. However, Ruhling got Lisa DiCristofaro to fly out to right field to end the contest.

In the nightcap, Lebanon Valley hit the scoreboard in the first inning as Jenn Parks knocked in Lauren Sanford with a single. Delaware Valley answered with two runs in the bottom half of the stanza as Harle (1-for-4) with a single and later scored on a single by Andrews (1-for-2). Andrews then scored on an opposite-field double by Dorney (1-for-3).

It stayed 2-1 until the fifth when Amy Batz (2-for-4) delivered a two-run single for a 3-2 Flying Dutchmen lead. They then added an insurance run in the seventh on an RBI single by Kelly O'Toole.

Stephanie Raziano suffered the loss for the Aggies despite allowing just three earned run and six hits over the seven innings. Robyn Jackson had two of the team's six hits against Lebanon Valley ace Alisa Albers (6-0).
