Delaware Valley 4, Wilmington College (OH) 2

FORT MEYERS (FL) -- Senior center fielder Katie Leach went 2-for-3 and knocked in all four runs as Delaware Valley College picked up its first win of the season with a 4-2 triumph over Wilmington College of Ohio.

Leach gave the Aggies (1-1) a 3-0 lead in the second inning with a bases-clearing double. She later added an RBI single in the fifth inning for a 4-0 advantage.

Wilmington scored two times in the sixth but that was it would get as senior Michelle Smith went the distance for Delaware Valley and allowed two runs on seven hits. She walked and struck out seven while also adding a 3-for-3 performance at the plate.
