Delaware Valley 12, St. Lawrence University 4

FORT MEYERS (FL) -- Delaware Valley College scored eight runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to break a 4-4 tie and down St. Lawrence University, 12-4, in Florida. The game was called with two outs in the fifth due to the eight-run mercy rule.

The Aggies (2-5) came up in the inning and the first two batters flew out. They then put 10 consecutive batters on base for the team's biggest inning during their Spring Break trip. Katie Leach had an RBI double while Nicole Dorney's two-run single ended the contest.

Dorney went 3-for-4 with the two RBIs. Leach went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and two RBIs while Christine Bowie added a 2-2 performance with two runs scored and two RBIs. Kirstyn Ruhling picked up the win in relief as she pitched three scoreless innings and allowed just two hits.
