Defiance College 15, Delaware Valley 3

FORT MEYERS (FL) -- Defiance College scored 10 run in the second inning, en route to a 15-3 victory over Delaware Valley College on the Aggies' Spring Break trip to Florida. The game was called after five innings due to the eight-run mercy rule.

Defiance sent 15 batters to the plate in the second stanza and notched 10 hits on its way to the 10-run inning. For the game, Defiance notched 13 hits in the five innings.

Delaware Valley scored three runs in the bottom of the second on a bases-clearing double by Kim Harle. Harle went 1-for-2 in the3 contest. The Aggies had five hits in the game with two coming off the bat of Jenn Welsh.
