King's College 12, Delaware Valley 0 (Game 1 - 5 innings)
King's College 8, Delaware Valley 1 (Game 2 - 5 innings)

WILKES-BARRE (PA) -- Stacey Preambo drilled four home runs as the King's College softball team swept a Freedom Conference doubleheader from visiting Delaware Valley College, 12-0 and 8-1. Both games were called after five innings, the first due to the eight-run mercy rule and the second due to heavy rain and lightning.

Preambo smacked two homers in each game to give her 11 on the season. Her solo shot in the second inning of the opener began a five-run spurt in the stanza. The Lady Monarchs (22-4, 6-0) added three more runs in the third before Premabo's two-run shot in the fourth highlighted a four-run inning for the 12-0 final.

The Aggies (6-18, 1-9) were limited to thee hits in the opener as Tammy Banks, Megan Chapin and Amy DeBuck each had singles.

The second game saw Preambo hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the first to give King's a 2-0 lead. The advantage was 5-0 going into the third when Preambo smacked a solo shot.

Delaware Valley's lone run came in the top of the fourth as Banks doubled and later scored on an error. Banks and Christine Bowie had the lone hits in the game for the Aggies.
