Gordon College 9, Delaware Valley 2

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH (SC) -- Delaware Valley College dropped its second game in a row with a 9-2 loss to Gordon College. The Aggies are now 3-3 with two games remaining on its Spring Break trip to South Carolina.

Delaware Valley took a 2-0 lead in the fourth inning on back-to-back RBI singles by Amy DeBuck and Tammy Banks. However, Gordon scored eight times in the top of the fifth to take a commanding lead.

Michelle Smith suffered the loss as she pitched four-plus innings. Megan Chapin came in for Smith and pitched the final two-plus innings.
