Arcadia University 5, Delaware Valley 4 (9 innings)

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH (SC) -- Arcadia University scored four runs in the top of the ninth to pull out a 7-4 victory over Delaware Valley College.

The Aggies (1-1) and the Knights (1-1) were tied at 3-3 heading into the ninth. However, Arcadia blew the game open in the ninth as it scored the go-ahead run on a passed ball and followed with an RBI double and a pair of RBI singles.

Delaware Valley managed to get one run in the bottom of the ninth, but that was as close as they would come. Freshman Megan Chapion suffered the loss despite not allowing an earned run through the first eight innings and fanned nine batters.
