University of Scranton 7, Delaware Valley 4 (Game 2)

DOYLESTOWN (PA) -- Megan Wasilik went 4-for-6 with three home runs and seven RBIs as The University of Scranton swept a Freedom Conference doubleheader from host Delaware Valley College on Tuesday. The Lady Royals took the opener, 8-3, and followed with a 7-4 triumph in the second contest.

Wasilik went 2-for-4 with a double, home run and four RBIs in the opner as Scranton scored five times in the second inning and cruised from there. Delaware Valley scored twice in the second on a RBI triple by Tammy Banks and an RBI single by Jackie Neil. The Aggies scored again in the sixth as Beth Sander's single drove home Banks. Banks went 2-for-2 with two runs scored and an RBI in the contest.

In the nightcap, Wasilik did the damage again for Scranton as she went 2-for-2 with a pair of home runs and three runs batted in. Delaware Valley held a 3-2 lead until the Lady Royals tied the game in the fourth and took the lead for good by scoring four times in the sixth. Sander and Casey Bidlingmaier each had two hits and an RBI for the Aggies. Sander also scored two times.
