Delaware Valley 13, Philadelphia Biblical University 6 (Game 1)
Philadelphia Biblical University 5, Delaware Valley (Game 2)

LANGHORNE (PA) -- Wendy Strohl went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs in the first game as Delaware Valley College split a non-conference doubleheader at Philadelphia Biblical University. The Aggies won the first game, 13-6, before dropping a 5-2 decision in the nightcap.

Strohl, a freshman designated hitter, upped her RBI total to a team-best 19 on the season. Her double came in the sixth inning as part of six-run frame. Katie Leach had a two-run double in the inning as the sophomore center fielder finished the game 2-for-4 with two runs scored and a pair of RBIs.

Beth Sander went 2-for-5 with a double and three runs scored while Alison Suttie added two hits and two runs scored. Jennifer Moyer picked up her fourth win of the season as the sophomore allowed just two earned runs and four hits while striking out a career-best nine batters in seven innings of work.

In the nightcap, Philadelphia Biblical scored two runs in both the fourth and fifth innings, en route to the 5-2 victory. Delaware Valley managed just three hits in the game - doubles by Strohl, Suttie and Rose Paylor. Paylor and Strohl knocked in runs with their hits. Casey Bidlingmaier suffered the loss despite allowing just two earned runs and three hits over six innings.
