Haverford College 8, Delaware Valley 4 (Game 1)
Delaware Valley 7, Haverford College 3 (Game 2)

HAVERFORD (PA) - Casey Bidlingmaier did not allow an earned run while Katie Leach, Bridget McLaughlin and Alison Suttie had three hits apiece as Delaware Valley College salvaged a doubleheader split at Haverford College with a 7-3 victory in the second game. The Fords took the opener by an 8-4 score.

Bidlingmaier picked up her second win of the season as the freshman allowed just six hits in seven innings. She walked two batters and struck out four while the three Haverford runs came off the result of four Aggie errors.

Leading 1-0, Delaware Valley (6-16) scored five times in the second inning to build a six-run advantage. McLaughlin knocked in a run with a single and Suittie followed with a two-run triple. Suttie then scored on Rose Paylor's buntt. Binglingmaier later helped her own cause with an RBI single.

Leach was 3-for-4 with a two doubles and a run scored while McLaughlin went 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles and two runs scored. Suttie was 3-for-4 with a triple, two runs scored and two RBI's. Ashley Beam had two hits as well in the victory.

The opener saw Haverford (7-16-1) score eight times in the second inning to build an early lead that it would never relinguish. Delaware Valley scored once in the fourth inning on an RBI single by Leach and added three more in the fifth as Suttie and Tammy Banks notched RBIs.

Jennifer Moyer suffered the loss despite allowing just three earned runs in the game.
