Drew University 5, Delaware Valley 0 (Game 2)

MADISON (NJ) - The Delaware Valley College softball team dropped a pair of Freedom Conference games at Drew University on Sunday. The Aggies fell 10-2 in the opener and were blanked 5-0 in the nightcap.

The first game saw Drew (17-7, 6-2) scored seven runs in the fifth inning to build up an eight-run lead and end the contest due to the mercy rule. Delaware Valley scored both of its runs in the top of the fifth on an RBI triple by Jackie Neil and an RBI single by Alison Suttie. Neil went 2-for-3 in the game.

The Aggies were held to just three hits in the second game as Wendy Strohl, Katie Leach and Tammy Banks each had singles. The game was scoreless until the fifth when Drew put four on the board. The Rangers added another run in the sixth for the 5-0 final.
