DOYLESTOWN (PA) - Jessica Gannon scored with 10:42 remaining to spoil Delaware Valley College's Homecoming and lift Wilkes University to a 2-1, Freedom Conference victory.

The Lady Colonels improved to 8-6 overall and a perfect 3-0 in conference play while the Aggies fell to 5-8-2 overall and 0-2-1 in the Freedom.

With the game tied at 1-1 and headed towards overtime, Gannon had other ideas as she beat Delaware Valley goalkeeper Cortney Bower for her second goal of the season. Wilkes then held on for the big road victory.

The Lady Colonels opened the scoring 25:56 into the contest as Taryn Hallowell deposited her second goal of the year. Five minutes later, the Aggies tied the game off a penalty kick as Emily Perryman blasted the ball into the left corner for her first goal of the season.

Wilkes held a 21-15 advantage in shots. Liz Pauly made six saves and picked up the win while Bower stopped 15 shots in a losing effort.
