Ursinus College 7, Delaware Valley College 1

COLLEGEVILLE (PA) - Megan Ascanio scored three goals to lead Ursinus College to a 7-1, non-conference victory over visiting Delaware Valley College.

The Bears (2-1-1) jumped to a 4-0, first-half lead with Ascanio scoring the final two goals. After Alex Shivers (5:20) and Melissa Reuter (20:08) found the net, Ascanio tallied goals with 11:45 and 3:57 remaining in the stanza.

The Aggies (1-4) got on the board first in the second half as freshman Jessica Stahley took a pass from Brittany Shubra and blasted home her second goal of the season with 29:29 remaining.

However, Ascanio completed her hat trick just three minutes later and Sarah Gardner and Jess Gunzelman added late goals for the 7-1 final.
