Delaware Valley College 4, FDU-Florham 1

MADISON (NJ) - Delaware Valley College junior forward Elise Dauber scored two goals and assisted on two others to lead the Aggies to a 4-1 victory at FDU-Florham in a Freedom Conference game.

The win snapped a two-game losing streak for Delaware Valley as it improved to 6-9-2 overall and 1-31 in the Freedom. The Devils fell to 5-10 and 1-3.

Dauber opened the scoring 3:58 into the contest off an assist from Jessica Stahley. FDU-Florham tied the game with 20:03 to go in the half as Megan Sweeney connected off a feed from Lora Fink.

However, the Aggies took the lead for good with 12:38 left in the first half as Dauber set up Elise Carpenter for the freshman's third goal of the year. Dauber and Carpenter teamed again in the early stages of the second stanza as Dauber's corner kick was redirected into the net by Carpenter for a 3-1 lead. Dauber then ended the scoring with 3:02 remaining with her team-best 13th goal of the year. She also has five assists for 31 points.

Delaware Valley was edged, 19-18 in shots. Cortney Bower stopped six shots to pick up the victory.
