LANCASTER (PA) - Sarah George scored the lone goal of the game as Franklin & Marshall College notched a 1-0 victory over visiting Delaware Valley College in the opening round of the F&M Women's Soccer Kickoff Tournament.

With the loss, the Aggies will now compete in Saturday's consolation game where they will meet Rutgers-Camden, who dropped a 1-0 decision to Eastern Mennonite University.

George's goal came midway through the first half as she knocked in a rebound off a Diplomat corner kick opportunity. The F&M defense made that one goal stand as it held Delaware Valley to just four shots in the game, including one in the first half.

Sophomore Cortney Bower kept the Aggies in the contest as she made 11 saves in her collegiate debut in net. Erin Roy notched three saves at the other end to earn the shutout.
