DAUBER NAMED TO ALL-MID-ATLANTIC REGION
TEAM
DOYLESTOWN (PA) - Delaware Valley College junior forward Elise Dauber
(Erie, PA/McDowell) was recently named to the 2007 National Soccer
Coaches Association of America/adidas All-Mid-Atlantic Region Third
Team.
Dauber was the only player from the Freedom Conference selected
to the region squad. She is also just the second player in the 14-year
history of the Aggie women's soccer program to earn all-region honors,
joining four-time honoree Emilie Replogle (1995-98) on the exclusive
list.
The 2007 Freedom Conference Player of the Year, Dauber led the team
and the conference in goals (16), game-winning goals (4) and points
(39). She also paced Delaware Valley and was tied for second in
the league in assists with seven. Her play helped lift the Aggies
to a Freedom Conference playoff berth where they dropped a 2-0 decision
at eventual champion Manhattanville College in the semifinals.
Dauber will enter her senior season just 17 points shy of becoming
the third player in school history (Replogle and Ana Mecaj are the
others) to reach the 100-point milestone.
