Delaware Valley College 3, College of St. Elizabeth 2

MORRISTOWN (NJ) - Christine Del Turco scored one goal and assisted on another as Delaware Valley College edged The College of St. Elizabeth, 3-2, in a non-conference game.

The win was the first of the season for the Aggies as they improved their mark to 1-7-1. The Eagles fell to 0-6.

After a scoreless first half, Delaware Valley took a 1-0 lead just 10 minutes into the second stanza as freshman Cortney Bower scored her first collegiate goal off an assist from Nicki Martini. It became 2-0 with 24:50 to go as Del Turco set up Elise Dauber for the sophomore's fourth goal of the year.

St. Elizabeth got on the board with Esther Daughtrey's unassisted tally with 16:40 to go. However, Del Turco gave the Aggies some insurance with her second goal of the season with 2:04 remaining. Daughtrey added a last-minute goal for the 3-2 final.

Delaware Valley held a 16-9 advantage in shots while Emily Joyce notched three saves and the win.
