DOYLESTOWN (PA) - Lebanon Valley College picked up its first win of the season with a 2-1 triumph over host Delaware Valley College in a non-conference game.

The game was scoreless for most of the first half, but the Flying Dutchmen (1-3-1) got on the board with just 3:16 to go as Kristen Hoover scored off an assist from Keri Foster. Midway through the second half, Foster made it a 2-0 contest with an unassisted tally.

The Aggies (0-5-1) cut that lead in half with 19:13 remaining as sophomore Nicki Martini scored off a direct kick from about 30 yards out. Delaware Valley had chances after that goal, but the team could not come up with the game-tying tally.

Lebanon Valley held a 14-9 advantage in shots. Erika Ely made five saves en route to the victory while Emily Joyce stopped eight shots at the other end.
