Delaware Valley College 1, King's College 1 (2 OT)

DOYLESTOWN (PA) - Delaware Valley College opened Freedom Conference play with a 1-1, double-overtime tie against visiting King's College. The Aggies moved their record to 0-4-1 overall (0-0-1 Freedom) while the Lady Monarchs saw their mark go to 2-1-1 (0-0-1 Freedom).

The Aggies were outshot 11-7 in the first half, but they picked up the lone goal of the stanza (12:31 remaining) as Elise Dauber set up Christine Del Turco for the sophomore's first goal of the season.

However, King's tied the contest less than 14 minutes into the second half as Kaitlin Wilcox scored off an assist from Adrienne Stine. The Lady Monarchs held advantages of 6-3 in shots and 2-0 in corner kicks in the 10-minute overtime periods, but neither team found the net.

Emily Joyce made a season-high 17 saves for Delaware Valley while Christine Uhl stopped eight shots for King's.
