Delaware Valley College 6, Immaculata University 0

DOYLESTOWN (PA) - Sophomore Christine Del Turco scored four goals, including three in the first half, as Delaware Valley College posted a 6-0 home shutout over Immaculata University in a non-conference game.

The win was the third straight for the Aggies, who improved to 3-7-1 on the season. The Mighty Macs fell to 3-10.

Del Turco became just the second player in the 13-year history of the Delaware Valley program to score four or more goals in a game. Emilie Replogle notched five goals against Albright College in 1996 and the Aggie Hall of Famer also scored four times in a number of contests.

Del Turco, who entered the game with three goals on the season, scored just 95 seconds into Saturday's contest off an assist from Elise Dauber, who had a big game herself. Nicki Martini then made it 2-0 off a feed from Dauber 13:11 into the game.

Just over a minute later, Del Turco notched an unassisted tally. She then ended the scoring in the first half with another unassisted goal, this one with 20:19 left before intermission.

Del Turco found the net for a fourth time just nine minutes into the second stanza and freshman Ashley Gagliano scored her first collegiate goal off a pass from Dauber with 26:43 remaining. Dauber's three assists were one behind Replogle's team record from a 1998 victory over Rutgers-Camden College.

Delaware Valley outshot Immaculata by a 34-3 margin. Emily Joyce made one save and picked up the shutout.
