Rowan University 4, Delaware Valley 0

ST. MARY'S CITY (MD) - The Delaware Valley College women's soccer team kicked off the 2005 campaign with a 4-0 loss to Rowan University in the opening round of the Adidas/Seahawk Women's Soccer Classic at St. Mary's College. The Aggies will return to action on Sunday (2:00 p.m.) to battle the host school.

Rowan (2-0) scored all four of its goals in the first half on a tally by Kerry Little, back-to-back goals by Amanda Silvestri and a final score from Devon Marx. Silvestri also added an assist while Jamie Weist assisted on two goals.

Emily Joyce had eight saves for Delaware Valley, which was outshot 21-8 by the Profs.
