Ursinus College 4, Delaware Valley 1

DOYLESTOWN (PA) - Ursinus College scored four unanswered goals, including three in the second half, to erase a 1-0 deficit and defeat host Delaware Valley College, 4-1, in a non-conference game.

The Aggies (0-2) took the 1-0 lead midway through the first half as Ana Mecaj took a feed from Katie Leach and beat Bear goalkeeper Ashley Potter. Mecaj, a junior and a two-time, all-conference honoree, now has 27 goals in her career.

However five minutes later, Paula Keller-Lee tied the game off an assist from Debbie Jensen. Ursinus (2-0) then took the lead for good just 6:48 into the second half as Audrey McKenna notched the first of her two goals. McKenna's unassisted tally made it 3-1 while Jensen picked up her second assist of the game on Gina Serago's goal with 5:09 remaining.

Delaware Valley was outshot, 23-12, in the contest. Lindsay Eversole made 10 stops for Delaware Valley while Potter finished with four saves.
