Drew University 6, Delaware Valley 1

MADISON (NJ) -- Cait Mueller scored three goals and assisted on three others to lead the Drew University women's soccer team to a 6-1 victory over visiting Delaware Valley College in a Freedom Conference game.

Mueller notched the first three goals in the contest for a 3-0 Ranger advantage. Her first tally came just 10 minutes into the game while tally number two occurred with just 46 seconds to go before intermission. Mueller then finished off the hat trick 4:12 into the second half.

After Julie Strain made it 4-0, Delaware Valley (2-9, 0-4) got on the scoreboard with 9:54 remaining as freshman Cynthia Vargas recorded her first collegiate goal off an assist from Emily Hane.

The Rangers scored just 12 seconds later as Mueller set up Erin McNally for a goal. The two then combined again with 1:35 to go for the 6-1 final.

Lindsay Eversole made nine saves in 70 minutes of work for the Aggies while Celia Clemens played the final 20 minutes and stopped one shot.
