Centenary College 5, Delaware Valley 1

HACKETTSTOWN (NJ) -- Claire Johnson scored two goals while Michelle Barone added a goal and an assist to lead Centenary College to a 5-1 victory over visiting Delaware Valley College in a non-conference game.

Johnson opened the scoring nine minutes into the contest off a feed from Barone. Tanya Didonna made it 2-0 less than four minutes later and Barone gave the Cyclones (3-1) a three-goal halftime lead off Dana Tobia's second assist of the game.

Ana Mecaj put the Aggies (0-6) on the scoreboard with 28:28 remaining as the sophomore notched her second goal of the season. However, Johnson and Jess Sikora each found the net in the second half for the 5-1 final.

Centenary held a 21-11 advantage in shots. Lindsay Eversole stopped eight shots in the loss.
