Seton Hill University 4, Delaware Valley 0

COLLEGEVILLE (PA) -- Savannah Rennels scored two goals and assisted on another as Seton Hill University spoiled Delaware Valley College's season opener with a 4-0 victory over the Aggies at the Ursinus College Invitational.

This was supposed to be the second game for Delaware Valley, but Saturday's contest with St. Mary's College of Maryland was stopped in the 52nd minute and declared a "no contest" due to lightning and poor field conditions (at least 70 minutes must be played for an official NCAA game).

Rennels put Seton Hill on the board with just 46 seconds remaining in the first half. She then assisted on Kayla Bittner's tally eight minutes into the second stanza and made it 3-0 midway through the half. Ryanne Forcht ended the scoring with an unassisted goal.

Seton Hill outshot the Aggies, 39-13. Lindsay Eversole stopped 17 shots while Celia Clemens relieved her for the final 14 minutes and made three saves.
