Moravian College 3, Delaware Valley 2 (OT)

DOYLESTOWN (PA) - Brianne DeVries scored just 1:48 into overtime to lift Moravain College to a 3-2 victory over host Delaware Valley College, in a non-conference women's soccer game.

In the overtime, Heather Bichler raced down the right sideline, beat an Aggie defender and fed DeVries in the box for the game-winner. It was DeVries' second goal of the year as the Greyhounds improved to 2-0-2 on the young season.

Delaware Valley (1-2-1) took a 1-0 lead midway through the first half as senior Stacey Doderer found the net for the third time this year off an Ana Mecaj assist. The goal was the first that Moravian allowed this season - a span of 332 minutes.

It remained a 1-0 game until the Greyhounds scored twice in a five-minute span in the second half. Megan Collins tied the contest with an unassisted goal with 27:01 remaining, and Kelly Haymaker followed with 22:11 to go off an assist from Lindsay Pohl.

Doderer tied the game with just 6:59 remaining as she dribbled into the box and had her shot deflect off the left post and go in the net.

Moravian held a 33-11 advantage in shots. Lindsay Eversole stopped 18 shots in net for the Aggies while Jill Vaccaro made seven stops for Moravian.
