CENTER VALLEY (PA) -- The Delaware Valley College women's soccer team is one step closer to its first Freedom Conference playoff berth since 2000 thanks to a 1-0 shutout at DeSales University on Tuesday.

The Aggies (6-7-2 overall, 3-3 Freedom) will need to defeat Wilkes University at home in their last of the game season on Saturday, November 1 to qualify for the postseason.

Junior Katie Leach scored the lone goal of the game as she received a pass from sophomore Dana Ronyack about 40 yards from the goal. Leach dribbled a few times and knocked it past DeSales goalkeeper Melissa Levush with 25:34 remaining in the contest.

The Bulldogs (2-14-2, 0-6) outshot Delaware Valley, 18-12 in the contest. Aggie goalkeeper Lindsay Eversole made 11 saves while Levush finished with four saves.
