Widener University 3, Delaware Valley 1

CHESTER (PA) -- Widener University scored two times in the second half to break a 1-1 tie and defeat visiting Delaware Valley College, 3-1, in a non-conference women's soccer game.

Allison Augustus broke the deadlock with 26:15 remaining in the contest with a header. Augustus then assisted on Erin Livingston's goal with 10:30 to go to ice the game for the Pioneers (8-4-1).

Widener jumped out to a 1-0 lead on an unassisted goal by Jill Buchanan. However, the Aggies (6-5) tied the game with just 16 seconds left in the first half as freshman Ana Mecaj dribbled in and put a shot past Pioneer goalkeeper Kate Lynch. Mecaj leads the Aggies with eight goals and 18 points

Lindsay Eversole stopped 11 shots in net for Delaware Valley.
